4-1/2 yr. old Boo Boo Bear is a puppymill survivor. Used only for breeding (he lived in a crate with little human contact), he had no idea what affection is. He was very scared and hesitant to come to you - he wanted to but wouldn't. But if you got hold of him and scratched his ears and petted him he LOVED it! But the minute you let go he bolted. That kind of patience from his foster home has certainly improved him. He needs a home where he will get that same kind of patience to teach him that affection is a good thing. It will take time, but he will learn to trust and love as dogs should.
As you can see in the pictures. Boo Boo Bear has one small eye - likely it's microphthalmia, a congenital condition. It doesn't bother him, though he probably doesn't see out of that eye.
Boo Boo Bear is being fostered in Manlius, NY and his asking adoption fee is $200.

NOTE: Due to the volatile price of gas, getting multiple volunteers to help with long distance transporting is no longer feasible. We have listed the town and state where each dog is being fostered. Please consider how far you are willing to travel when filling out the application. The foster home will usually volunteer to help with transport for a reasonable distance.
