An E.C.A.D.R. Dog
Hi!
My name is Checkers and I'm a 4 yr. old Pekingese/Spaniel mix -
a big bundle of love in a small 17 lb. package! My favorite thing
to do is to sit on your lap or next to you while you are watching
tv -you can't help but pet me while I'm there. I will follow
you
everywhere - you only need call me once and I'm right by your
side.
I get along with other dogs - but
will give them a warning growl
when they are up in my face or sniffing my parts (after all,
they belong to me!). Cats are no problem at all - I totally
ignore them.
I like to take walks on a leash, but really don't care to go
outside alone.
Wouldn't you like to give me a new
home in time for the
new year? In a few days you won't even notice
that I'm blind.
I'm being fostered in Atlantic County,
NJ and my asking adoption fee is $225. E-MAIL INQUIRIES
WILL BE RESPONDED TO FASTER THAN TELEPHONE CALLS.
NOTE: Due to the volatile price of
gas, getting multiple volunteers to help with long distance transporting
is no longer feasible. We have listed the town and state where each
dog is being fostered. Please consider how far you are willing to
travel when filling out the application. The foster home will usually
volunteer to help with transport for a reasonable distance.
