Hi! I'm Hannah and I'm looking for a forever family. I'm a sweet older (approximately 9 years old) Shih Tzu of about 13 pounds. I was hit by a car and my owner could not afford to take care of me. He dropped me off at the shelter and the shelter vet took a liking to me. She made sure that I had all the medical care I needed before turning me over to rescue so that I could find a new forever home.

I am very low maintenance. I few rubs and alot of hugs and I am good to go for the day. I will lay on my pillow all day and wait patiently for my next hug. My eyesight is not as good as it used to be. I am housebroken but can't go for a really long time without having to go outside, so a forever family where someone is home all day would be great.

NOTE: Due to the volatile price of gas, getting multiple volunteers to help with long distance transporting is no longer feasible. We have listed the town and state where each dog is being fostered. Please consider how far you are willing to travel when filling out the application. The foster home will usually volunteer to help with transport for a reasonable distance.
