Kato is a very handsome 6 yr. old lad! He loves people and exploring his surroundings (making him a challenge for leash walking!). He also loves to ride in the car and play in the snow. He's a good eater and learned quickly to use the doggy door to potty outside.
Much better now, but when we first got him he had signs of separation anxiety when being left alone (even with the other dogs to keep him company). He had been a very spoiled, pampered pet until the owner could no longer care for him. While he does get along with the other dogs in his foster home, we think that he would still prefer a home where he can once again be treated like the prince he is! Even if there was another dog as submissive as he is, he would be happy - but he becomes frightened by pushy, aggressive dogs.
Kato is being fostered in Beckley, WV and his asking adoption fee is $250.

NOTE: Due to the volatile price of gas, getting multiple volunteers to help with long distance transporting is no longer feasible. We have listed the town and state where each dog is being fostered. Please consider how far you are willing to travel when filling out the application. The foster home will usually volunteer to help with transport for a reasonable distance.
