MR. T

Mr. T is a very energetic 9 year old Pekingese-pug mix. Just because there's snow on the roof doesn't mean there's not a fire in the furnace! He likes to go on walks and is well behaved on a leash. He will bark at other dogs along the way, but is generally easy to walk. He likes to “talk” by making gurgling growly kinds of sounds when he is playing. He does use his mouth when playing, but is gentle. He likes to cuddle with the ones he loves and generally prefers to be close to his humans.

Mr. T is “standoffish” with new people. He took a few weeks to warm up to his foster family. At first, he didn't like to be picked up, but he has come around and allows his foster mom to pick him up without complaint.

Mr. T is a brindle kind of color: lots of different colors mixed together. He sports a “faux hawk” which makes him look very interesting and cool. He has the height of a pug with a barrel chest. His fur is easy to maintain because it is shorter than a Peke’s. He weighs about 14 lbs.

Mr. T is being fostered in Liverpool, NY and his asking adoption fee is $125.

NOTE: Due to the volatile price of gas, getting multiple volunteers to help with long distance transporting is no longer feasible. We have listed the town and state where each dog is being fostered. Please consider how far you are willing to travel when filling out the application. The foster home will usually volunteer to help with transport for a reasonable distance.
