This precious little 8 lb Peke mix
is a senior in good health and needs a loving retirement home. Current
on her vaccinations, microchipped and spayed many years ago, this
little gal obviously was well cared for and the queen of a household
for many years - how she ended up as an unclaimed stray in a large
city shelter is beyond us. None-the-less in her later years, Nilla
finds herself in need of a home.
Her hearing and vision are not good anymore and her eyes do require
drops a few times daily (not difficult to apply as she's very cooperative)
but she would be a wonderful companion for a quiet adult household.
Prancing around with her little fleece coat on, Nilla loves her food
and wants everyone to know that being toothless is not bad when she
is fed yummy food and her cute little tongue barely even sticks out!
She follows her foster mommy about where ever she goes, wanting to
be near her even if just snoozing nearby.
She is referred to as the Curmudgeon when she grumbles about all
the other dogs running around her or if they horn in on her space.
Although she loves her foster mommy dearly, a less busy place would
be more ideal for Nilla. PLEASE HELP US to help more dogs by adopting
or fostering one of our sweet older babies. Seniors and special needs
kids are not expensive to adopt and have so much love and joy to
give.
